Therapy with me is fully confidential and safe. Working in London, I collaborate with GPs so that no potential medical cause of a problem is overlooked.
Why Hypnotherapy?
Among the various therapeutic techniques, I consider hypnotherapy to be one of the best and most effective. It allows to directly reach the subconscious structures that determine our behaviour and habits. It takes little time to discover the nature of the problem and to change an undesirable state into one that is positive. The effects of this therapy are in most cases deep-reaching and long-lasting.
Clinical hypnotherapy
uses methods which have been developed in analytical, behavioural and cognitive psychotherapies, extending them through methods which are specific for alternate states of mind, like Ericksonian approach or NLP techniques.
The main difference between clinical hypnotherapy and the above mentioned therapies is that hypnotherapy works on an alternate state of mind, namely a very deep relaxation of mind which opens access to our unconscious resources.
Clinical hypnotherapy is a focus-oriented therapy, which aims to bring about a change in our approach and behaviour.
Frequently Asked Questions
People often ask questions revealing their fears or misconceptions towards hypnosis. Let’s review some of them here:
Q: I saw hypnotized people on the TV and they did whatever the hypnotist wanted them to.
He had total control over them. Will I be manipulated like that?
A: No way! You will not lose control over yourself. You will do only what you want to do. Nobody can do anything against your will. Therapeutic hypnosis is meant to enhance your control over yourself, not to take it away from you.
Q: Will I forget everything? Will you put me under? (general anaesthesia)
A: You will remember what you need to remember and you will forget what you want to forget. You are always in control.
Q: I am too critical to go into a trance, I am not able to do it.
A: You are.:) Hypnosis is a very natural state of mind, you go into hypnosis many times a day. At least two times a day. Remember these short periods of time just before you fall asleep and just before you fully wake up? Or times when you are driving a car a long distance and suddenly you find yourself at your destiny not remembering the way? Or when you are working very hard and suddenly realize that your wife/ husband is home, and you haven’t noticed when they arrived? Hypnosis is a state of mind which occurs when our mind is fully focused on one thing, to the exclusion of everything else.
Q: Only weak or gullible people go into a trance, I am too strong-willed and intelligent to do it.
A: Going into a trance has nothing to do with being weak-minded or unintelligent. To the contrary – intelligent people go into a trance more easily, because they have more imagination power and they are more capable of concentrating.
Q: I will not go into the trance correctly or deeply enough.
A: You will do it correctly. Because you do what is right for you. Everybody’s experience of hypnosis is unique, because every person is unique. You will go as deeply as you want to, because you are the one who decides how to go and how deeply to go.
Q: What if I cannot awake from the trance?
A: You will awake any time you want to. Because you are the one who has control. You will remain fully in control. You will be fully aware of your surroundings. Your subconsciousness will always protect you.
Q: Hypnosis is a miracle and it will solve my all problems at once.
A: While hypnosis may have a bigger rate of success than other therapeutic techniques, nevertheless, it does not work miracles. The solution will come in its own time, however, in many cases we can predict the number of sessions needed.

What is a Hypnotherapeutic Session Like?
Hypnosis is a state of deep, point-centered concentration. This concentration allows you to focus on my voice, which will lead you into your unconscious mind. Our goal is to find patterns – or programmes – which are outdated and detrimental, and replace them with new, beneficial ones.
During our first meeting, we concentrate on defining your problem in all its ramifications. In this process, I will help you to determine the goal to be reached through hypnotherapy as precisely and clearly as possible. Most problems can be solved in three to six sessions, some just in one. After determining the goal, you will be put in a hypnotic trance and the therapy will continue. You will be also taught self-hypnosis and receive some guidelines on how to enhance control over your issues. In general, hypnotherapy is a fast-working therapeutic technique.
A session takes usually about an hour and is strictly confidential. No information gathered during the therapeutic session can be shared with any person or institution without your clear and written consent. As a student of the American Knightsbridge Institute of NLP and Hypnotherapy and the London College of Clinical Hypnosis I am strictly bound by the principles of ethical conduct endorsed by the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis.
